These Brownie Nests are so much fun for spring. The kids absolutely loved

How to Make Brownie Nests?
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly coat a mini muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray, set aside.
• In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, and baking powder.
• In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
• Pour the wet mixture into the flour mixture and stir with a rubber spatula to combine.
• Fill the prepared mini muffin tin a one tablespoon measurement of the batter, DO NOT overfill the muffin hole.
• Bake 18-20 minutes.
• Remove from oven and allow the brownies to sit in the muffin tin for 5 minutes before removing to finish cooling on a cooling rack.
To make Chocolate Ganache:
• In a medium glass bowl add chopped chocolate, set aside
• In a small saucepan, heat the cream until it begins to simmer
• Remove from heat and pour over the top of the chocolate in the bowl
• Allow to sit 3-4 minutes, then whisk until smooth
• Once the Chocolate Ganache has the right consistency, dip the top of the brownie into the chocolate and lightly shake off the excess.
• Place dipped brownie onto a plate and top with sprinkles and add 3 eggs of each brownie

I like to use jellybeans eggs for the top but Cadbury mini eggs, M&M’s, and Whoppers malted milk robin eggs work just as well. You can also make a few of your nests with a Peep marshmallow bird on top
How to Store Brownie Nests?
You can store brownie nests in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days

Ingredients

  • For the Brownies:
  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • For Chocolate Ganache:
  • 5 ounces bittersweet chocolate finely chopped

  • 5 ounces heavy cream

  • Chocolate sprinkles, optional

  • Easter sprinkles, optional

  • Egg candies, optional

Directions

  • To make brownies:

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, and baking powder.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
