This festive decadent dessert made with Oreo crust, deliciously creamy chocolate cheesecake layer with Little Debbie chocolate snack cakes and chocolate topping

Ingredients

  • For the crust:
  • 2 ½ cups Oreo cookie crumbs, about 26 Oreo cookies

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • For the cheesecake filling:
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 10 ounces bittersweet chocolate-chopped

  • 6 Little Debbie’s chocolate flavored Christmas tree cakes

  • For the Ganache:
  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped

  • For the toppings:
  • ¾ cup heavy whipped cream

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • For the garnish:
  • Store bought white icing

  • Christmas sprinkles, optional

Directions

  • To make crust:
  • Finely crush the cookies in a food processor, add melted butter and blend until it’s all moistened
  • Press crumb mixture onto the bottom of prepared 9-inch springform pan by lightly greasing the edges of the pan with cooking spray
  • Place in the freezer while you make the filling
  • To make cheesecake filling:
  • Melt 10 ounces bittersweet chocolate and set aside to cool
  • In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy, set aside
  • In separate bowl whip heavy cream until soft peaks form add vanilla extract and continue mixing until stiff peaks form
  • Add cream cheese mixture into beaten heavy cream and mix on low speed just to combine
  • Add melted chocolate and mix on low speed until well incorporated
  • Spread half of chocolate cheesecake filling into bottom of the crust
  • Layer with Little Debbie’s chocolate flavored Christmas tree cakes, press down
  • Top with the rest of chocolate cheesecake filling
  • Set in the fridge to firm
  • Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or until set
  • To make Ganache:
  • In a medium saucepan stir together cream and chocolate on low heat until the chocolate is completely melted and mixture is smooth
  • Cool and pour over cheesecake
  • When the topping is set and cooled run a thin knife around the sides and remove the springform pan sides
  • To make the topping:
  • Pour the heavy whipping cream into bowl and use an electric mixer to beat the heavy cream on medium-high speed until soft peaks start to form
  • Slowly add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder and continue beating on high speed until stiff peaks form
  • Pipe topping around the edge of the chilled cheesecake and drizzle with white icing and sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles
  • Slice and serve
