With so much happening in the summer months the last thing I want to do is spend a bunch of time in the kitchen. The weather is so beautiful and I want to be out enjoying it. So because of that one thing I have wanting to try to make Frozen Banana Dessert. I love bananas like crazy. Every time I go to store, I pick up a bunch. I wanted to make something that was quick. This Frozen Banana Dessert is not only moist and delicious and bursting with flavor, but they are also so easy to make.

How to make a Frozen Banana Dessert?
• First we make a crust:
• In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted butter, mix until well combined
• Press almost 2/3 of the crumb mixture onto bottom of the prepared 9×9 inch dish by lightly greasing the edges of the dish with cooking spray, set in the freezer to firm while making filling
• To make filling:
• Place bananas and lemon juice in a blender and pulse until mixture is pureed, set aside
• In medium bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy
• In separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form
• Add cream cheese mixture into beaten heavy cream mix on low speed just to combine
• Add condensed milk, vanilla extract and mashed bananas and beat until combined
• Spread the filling over chilled crust and sprinkle with remaining graham cracker crumbs
• Freeze at last 6 hours or overnight

How do I store this?
This is best stored in the freezer. I recommend placing it on the counter 10 minutes before serving to allow it to thaw a little bit.

This frozen dessert was a huge hit with my family and I know it’s a dessert we’ll be making often. There are so many possibilities for other flavors using different fresh fruit. We usually have it in summer, but sometimes during other seasons, as well, when we feel like eating ice cream.
What is cool about this dessert is that it can be prepared few weeks before and kept in the freezer. Crunchy layer is made with graham cracker, butter and sugar and rich creamy layer is made of cream cheese, powdered sugar, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla heavy cream and mashed bananas. Ingredients

  • For the crust and crumb topping:
  • 3 cups graham crackers crumbs

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 6 tablespoons sugar

  • For the filling:
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1(14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 3 bananas, mashed

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Directions
