Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 egg


  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 2 ¾  cups flour


  • Pinch of salt  salt


  • Christmas sprinkles, optional

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF
  • Cream butter and sugar together
  • Add egg and vanilla and beat together
  • Add flour and salt, beat until dough comes together
  • Form dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a greased baking sheet
  • Flatten them with a glass
  • Dip the top side of each cookie into sprinkles
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until bottoms begin to brown
