Strawberry season is finally getting near here and I am dreaming up all kinds of ways to use fresh strawberries! This easy strawberry Cream Cheese Danish is just the beginning. Very easy to make with few ingredients! Easy Strawberry Danish is so light, fresh, moist and delicious.
How to Make Strawberry Cream Cheese Danish?
• First, start with puff pastry, unfold the puff pastry sheets and lay out on a flat surface
• Use a knife to cut along the fold marks to create three equal sized strips
• Cut each strip I half to make a total of 12 rectangles and place to prepared sheet pans
• With a paring knife lightly score the dough by cutting a border ½ -inch from the edge, do not cut through the pastry
• Use a fork to poke a few holes into center area of each pastry (this allows the outside border to rise and puff up while the center stays lower and holds the filling)
• In a small bowl, stir together cream cheese and strawberry jam
• Place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture in the centers of each pastry and spread it within the scored area
• Top the cream cheese with the sliced strawberries
• Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg
• Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and puffed

2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
½ cup soft cream cheese
1 tablespoon strawberry jam
2 cups sliced strawberries
1 egg, beaten for glazing
Powdered sugar, optional

- Preheat oven to 400F degrees. Line 2 sheet pans with parchment paper, set aside
- Unfold the puff pastry sheets and lay out on a flat surface
- Use a knife to cut along the fold marks to create three equal sized strips
- Cut each strip I half to make a total of 12 rectangles and place to prepared sheet pans
